Life is filled with so much hustle and bustle, taking the time out to follow a skincare routine may sometimes feel as if it is out of reach. Following these simple, trustworthy five steps can offer women of all ages beautiful skin for many years to come.

Step 1: Wear Sunscreen

Make it a habit to wear sunscreen even on overcast days. Today, sunscreen comes in an array of skin care products such as moisturizers. And that includes tinted moisturizers, too.

Not using a solar defense means premature skin aging. Signs of wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, and uneven skin tone will creep up. Sunscreen slows down the skin aging process.

If possible, avoid the sun between its most powerful hours which is normally between 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

And above all, purchase a broad spectrum sunscreen. Reapply it every few hours, and right away, after swimming or perspiring.

Step 2: Treat Skin with some TLC

Facial skin is delicate. Here are a few things on the TLC list such as:

Limit time in hot water to avoid dehydration

Do not tug or pull on skin when cleaning or removing makeup

Pat skin dry and leave some moisture behind so skin can rehydrate itself

And when it comes to cleansing, do choose a non soap cleanser so it will noy leave skin dry.

Step 3: Moisturize

And do not forget to use a full body moisturizer, too. Never use a moisturizer meant for the whole body on the face. It will be too harsh.

Step 4: Eating Healthy and Sleeping Well

These two things seem so simple but they can be so challenging. A balanced and nutritious diet benefits the whole body from the inside out. Incorporating the recommended dietary amount of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains does wonders for the skin.

And a restful night of sleep will leave skin fresh and glowing.

Step 5: Implement a Skin Care Regimen

Having a skin care routine is essential to looking young. As skin matures, these routines need to be tweaked to gain the maximum benefits.
