Causes of Acne
Your skin has millions of pores all over it. And through the day, these pores accumulate excess oils, dirt residues and debris. Now this accumulated debris gives rise to blackheads and whiteheads that appear on the skin. Consequently, pimples and blemishes being to show face.
Additionally, the sex hormones are on a high during adolescence which triggers off increased oil production by the body. Because oil glands swell in size, there is more oil produced and more pimples appear. But then as you enter your twenties, there is a fair reduction in the process for most.

One more thing you should keep in mind is your skin type. Whenever you go about choosing and acne skin care product or skin care treatment, make sure that it is especially formulated for your particular skin type.
Acne skin care products take time to work. This is because they penetrate deep inside the dermis layer of the skin and begin work at root level. Be patient and see for yourself!
