La Roche-Posay Anthelios 15 Sunscreen Cream (is discontinuted) offers broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. This sunscreen is water resistant, fragrance-free and, PABA-free. It's light, non-greasy texture makes it suitable for sensitive skin and perfect to wear over your daily moisturizer.
UVA protection helps to prevent the effects of sun damage. This sunscreen combines Parasol 1789 (avobenzone) and an innovative ingredient, Mexoryl SX (ecamsule).
This combination offers the broad spectrum protection. Although water resistant, it still must be reapplied after water activity or perspiring.
UVA rays, a daily skin concern:
UVA rays have been shown to penetrate deeper into the skin, damaging its elasticity and contributing to premature skin aging.
UVB rays, a daily skin concern:
UVB rays cause sunburn and also contribute to premature skin aging.
SPF or "Sun Protection Factor":
This is the degree of protection a sunscreen offers against UVB rays.
Sun Alert:
Even if you don't burn, repeated sun exposure of unprotected skin while tanning, may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer, and other harmful effects to the skin.
Directions:
Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after swimming, perspiring and after towel drying.
